There’s a feud going on between a local film festival host, Mr. Lobo and W-W-E Wrestler, Chris Jericho. A fight that’s put Sacramento on celebrity gossip site…T-M-Z.

It’s a match not in the wrestling ring for Jericho and Mr. Lobo. A few weeks back Jericho made some racist and anti-gay comments about Mr. Lobo. We want to warn you that some of the words you’ll be hearing are offensive. We’re choosing to air them so you can understand the context of the comments.

Sacramento’s Horror film festival host, Mr. Lobo is now taking on Chris Jericho, after the wrestler spit slurs at him calling him at a movie screening last month.

The offensive terms slipped out Jericho’s lips more than once. It’s a slur that’s been used by some members of the military in war time targeted at Middle Easterners. A Sacramento Resident, Paritosh Acharya is familiar with the word and says it’s rude. He says, “He should be much more careful because he’s in the media and a media person should be careful with their statements.”

Mr. Lobo says, “I was shocked and befuddled and probably would’ve been deeply hurt if I was of Middle Eastern descent.”

Mr. Lobo didn’t take the blows. He began asking Jericho if he was drunk.

That’s when more slurs were spit his way.

In response to Jericho’s comment, The Gay Rights Group, “GLADD” made a statement…”There is no time, context, or occasion in which it’s acceptable to utter racist and anti-gay slurs.

The feud between the two made celebrity gossip show, “T-M-Z”, where Mr. Lobo is fighting back using his comedic muscles.

He’s challenged Jericho to a thumb wrestling match. Jericho did apologize for his words
